The Unified Transdiagnostic Model (MUT)
Licensed healthcare professionals. Our priority is your recovery, not how long you remain in treatment.

What is MUT?
Por eso la abordamos desde un enfoque biopsychosocial and in line with the recommendations of the NIDA.

The Stages of Treatment
We organize the process into phases tailored to each person's pace and needs. The underlying logic is the same for all addictions: only the starting point changes.
Meaningful You start with the detoxification; without substance (games, shopping, screens…), where there is nothing to eliminate from the body, one begins with the Behavioral stabilization and management.
Cuando la retirada puede entrañar riesgo (por ejemplo, en alcohol or benzodiazepines), the safest device is assessed on a case-by-case basis, and, if indicated, the bypass the appropriate treatment; pharmacological support is prescribed and monitored by a doctor.
No Substance — Assessment and Stabilization: interrupt or manage the behavior, reduce exposure and access (stimulus control, self-exclusions, limits, environmental support), and assess risks.
Unlearning and Relearning
Relapse Prevention and Maintenance
Consolidate the changes, identify warning signs and risky situations, and rebuild a stable life plan. A relapse is not a failure, nor does it mean starting over from scratch: it is a situation we know how to navigate, and from which we learn so we can continue moving forward with more resources.
Treatments that support it
Biopsychosocial approach
Addiction has biological, psychological, and social components, and it is treated on all three levels simultaneously.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identify and change thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that perpetuate the problem; practice coping skills.
Motivational Interviewing and Stages of Change
Relapse Prevention
Anticipate risky situations and warning signs, and practice responses to sustain change over time.
Addressing Dual Diagnosis
It addresses both addiction and the disorders that often accompany it—anxiety, depression, trauma, among others—because one feeds the other.
Psychopharmacology: When the Doctor Prescribes It
Individualized pharmacological treatment, prescribed and monitored by a physician, integrated with psychotherapy and never used as a substitute for it.

How We Customize It
Each person receives a Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP), in which the individual plays an active role in their recovery, with goals tailored to their situation—ranging from reducing use or certain behaviors to breaking the habit or achieving abstinence—.
We tailor the intervention to your motivational moment (Prochaska and DiClemente’s stages of change model), because it’s not the same to start when someone is still hesitant as it is when they’ve already decided to change. And if You've already tried that before —whether on its own or as part of another resource—that doesn't work against you: it's valuable information about what you need, and it's part of the starting point. Most treatments are outpatient clinics and from individual psychotherapy.
En qué consiste el Modelo Unificado Transdiagnóstico (MUT). Its value lies in integrate and customize tratamientos ya validados dentro de un mismo plan.
— Clear priority: your recovery, not your continued participation in treatment.
— We work with licensed healthcare professionals, based on respect and transparency.
